Hello my legion of followers!   How many is a legion?  More than one?

Anyway, I'm into my 27th year at KOOL....the first 15 or so with the previous incarnation, CFCA-FM, which we fondly referred to as playing the Music of Your Dead Grandmother's life....I was born in Murrayville British Columbia, where I'd love to be except my parents decided at 11, it was probably best I live with them in Ontario when they decided to seek some greener pastures.

We moved to London, and then to the urban powerhouses of Ilderton, Denfield, and Arva.  I attended elementary and high schools in those areas, before heading off to Fanshawe College to take broadcast journalism.  Truthfully, I had a taste of broadcasting from four years on a Reach for the Top Team, and it seemed like a job where I could use my vast collection of completely useless information   High school turned out to be a pretty good place.  That was where I met Diana, who is the love of my life.    We are into year 31 of marriage, and trust me on this, if you do it right, and connect with the right person, it does get better with the years.   Our three girls are all grown and out of the house, and we are having the time of our lives.  

For the past 13 years, I've been the voice and face of the KOOL FM Poster Boy campaign.  The campaign has raised almost 2 million dollars for the Grand River Regional Cancer Center.    And, as I say every year, I will never do anything more worthwhile.
