MUSIC AND MOVIES IN THE PARK 2010

105.3 Kool FM is thrilled to be a part of the fourth annual Music and Movies In The Park event put on by The Beat Goes On. Four times over the summer of 2010, The Beat Goes On will host free movie events in Waterloo Park West under the stars and on Canada's largest outdoor screen. Admission is free with a non perishable food item for the Food Bank Of Waterloo Region.
Each night families are encouraged to arrive by 7:30pm to hear live music before the movies start at dusk. Below you will find a complete schedule of the movies that you and your family can enjoy.
Everyone is looking for something cool to do with their families over the summer holidays and this is the closest thing to a Drive In Movie your child will get to experience and help the Food Bank of Waterloo Region at the same time.
If inclement weather strikes the movie event will be cancelled and NOT rescheduled.
Music and Movies In The Park proudly supported by 105.3 Kool FM and also co-sponsored by Princess Cinema in Waterloo.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid To Greg Heffley, middle school is the dumbest idea ever invented. It's a place rigged with hundreds of social landmines, not the least of which are morons, wedgies, swirlies, bullies, lunchtime banishment to the cafeteria floor - and a festering piece of cheese with nuclear cooties. To survive the never-ending ordeal and attain the recognition and status he feels he so richly deserves, Greg devises an endless series of can't-miss schemes, all of which, of course, go awry. And he's getting it all down on paper, via a diary - "it's NOT a diary, it's a journal!" Greg insists, preferring the less-sissyfied designation - filled with his opinions, thoughts, tales of family trials and tribulations, and (would-be) schoolyard triumphs. "One day when I'm famous," writes Greg, "I'll have better things to do than answer peoples' stupid questions all day." So was born the Wimpy Kid's diary. |

The Tooth Fairy Derek Thompson is 'The Tooth Fairy,' a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster's hopes, he's sentenced to one week's hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek "can't handle the tooth" – bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers' homes…doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams |
